Iran Should Learn From America – Create Free Speech Zones, Warrantless Wiretappings and No-Fly Lists for Protesters

In one of the biggest acts of hypocrisy, last week, the congress and the senate passed a resolution to condemn the Iranian government for ‘cracking down on protesters.’ This ‘resolution’ was passed overwhelmingly, with the exception of Ron Paul’s vote, to which he drew the expected criticism from the usual Zionist commentators. The resolution came in light of the recent violent post-election protests in Iran. There was strong language by congress critters and senators like ‘Bomb-Bomb-Iran John McCain.’ He said that the way Iran is cracking down on protesters is ‘America’s business’ (?!).
Let’s backtrack a little and try to remember our ever-eroding ‘freedom of speech’ in this country. Does anyone remember the protesters who were incarcerated for no reason at the 2004 RNC in New York? These people, who by the way, were found not guilty of any crime in court, were picked in random and arrested by the NYPD simply for just being there. They were thrown in a sub-human, filth-infested FEMA camp, while rightwing radio and TV talk show hosts (the same ones condemning Iran today) were calling for them to be tortured and imprisoned.
The problem with Iran and the violent clashes between police and protesters is only because the Iranian government has not yet mastered the art of ‘containment,’ which has been in place here in the United States since the late 90’s during the Seattle protests. This containment strategy is called ‘a free-speech zone.’ Orwell couldn’t have come up with a better name for it.
These ‘free-speech zones’ are designated by local, state or federal government authorities MILES AWAY from where the protests should actually take place. Here in the United States, if you’re not in a free-speech zone, and you are a protester, you are arrested. Remember the woman that was arrested for wearing an anti-Bush t-shirt while Bush was arriving at the airport?… well, she was arrested for ‘protesting outside a free-speech zone.’ Iran should get with the program and learn from the good old U.S. of A. They should establish ‘free speech zones’ MILES away from Tehran, so they can contain the protests the way the U.S. Government does. Build some FEMA camps, and arrest all the protesters you want and throw them in sub-human cages for indefinite periods of time, just like we do!
Another good technique that I would recommend for the Iranian government (because we love to tell other foreign governments how to treat their citizens) is to create a ‘No-Fly List.’ Here in the US, if you’re an anti-war activist, a Ron Paul supporter, or a constitutionalist, you can be put in the ‘no-fly-list’… you know, the same list that was created for the ‘evil terrorists’ after 9/11. The Iranians should follow our good example of a ‘fine democracy’ and keep track of these ‘evil protesters,’ especially if they want to leave the country… that’s how we do it here!
One final useful measure that Iran should adopt after the U.S.A. is ‘Warrantless Wiretapping.” This way, you can listen to the little bastards without a court order so you can find out where the next so-called ‘freedom of assembly event’ will take place. Then, you can infiltrate their puny little anti-government groups and carry out provocateur acts so they can get blamed for the crimes you commit; and therefore, they will get arrested before the protests even begin. You can even accuse the protesters of being anti-Semitic or racist and the stupid public will believe it! Isn’t that great? That’s how we roll in the good old U.S. of A.!
So there you have it Iran! Why go through needless violence and these clashes between police, military, and protesters? Follow our example! And if you want to avoid any more election scandals, just buy some Diebold voting machines! Hey, maybe some day the Diebold CEO can say that “he will deliver the votes for you,” just like he did here during the 2004 presidential election. And once you put all these systems in place, maybe your politicians can criticize or ‘condemn’ other countries for ‘stealing elections’ or for ‘cracking-down on protesters.’
