Humans ‘will be implanted with microchips’

All Australians could be implanted with microchips for tracking and identification within the next two or three generations, a prominent academic says.

Michael G Michael from the University of Wollongong’s School of Information Systems and Technology, has coined the term “uberveillance” to describe the emerging trend of all-encompassing surveillance.

“Uberveillance is not on the outside looking down, but on the inside looking out through a microchip that is embedded in our bodies,” Dr Michael told ninemsn.

    Knowing how Governments operate throughout the world?….NO THANK YOU.
    I find it appalling to think that for the sake of security folks would willingly give up something that so many of their forefathers fought for them to have…. Their freedom.
    My advice is to get out of your house and go hug a total stranger.
    The truth is there are way more good folks out there than bad. And in this case, if you were to only chip the bad, because of government, eventually it would find it’s way back to the good.

    To me my friends, that would be ” THE BEAST” of moves.
