Two Men Arrested in New York Bomb Plot Investigation
U.S. federal authorities have arrested two men as part of the investigation into an alleged bomb plot targeting New York City.
FBI officials say Adis Medunjanin and Zarein Ahmedzay were arrested early Friday in New York City by the bureau’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Investigators allege the two men are linked to a Colorado man, Afghan-born Najibullah Zazi, who was arrested last year and charged with conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction. He has pleaded not guilty.
There are no details on the charges against the two men, but they are expected to make an initial court appearance in New York later Friday
