The Ministry of Defence has confirmed a sonic device will be deployed in London during the Olympics.
The American-made Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) can be used to send verbal warnings over a long distance or emit a beam of pain-inducing tones.
The equipment was spotted fixed to a landing craft on the Thames at Westminster this week.
The manufacturer denies it is a weapon and the MoD said it would be used “primarily in the loud hailer mode”.

Besides this kind of crapola the UK ‘gubmint’ has chosen to deploy…
well, for any Americans who are heading over to ‘good ol blighty’ to do a bit of sightseeing around London besides numb their brains at the olympics, be careful to not end up in the wrong end of town, or in the wrong pub (bar), for some reason there are still many neanderthals who hold a grudge for what happend WAYYYYYY back in the past.
(yes it’s true they dont get what freedom is and they like being slaves)
Stick to the big town areas (you know, those places with the big fancy looking stores and big tourist attractions), if you end up in a side street or a poor looking residential area with high rises then TURN BACK uness you dont mind bumping into little gangs of idiots, muggers, rapists and junkies etc. and just like in the US, there are a few “Black only areas where whitey can’t roam no mo”. Sad but true.
But don’t let that put anyone off, the decent people in London far out number the neanderthals.
Oh and do your best to avoid ATMs which are not at a bank, In fact try to get to a bank to get money from because ATMs are simply not trust worthy in London, many people have even had their bags pickpocketed while using or standing in the cue for the ATM.
Don’t forget to smile for the security cameras which are on pretty much every light post and corner of buildings.
