Monsanto trying a sneak attack through the new House Farm Bill

According to the Organic Consumers Association post just yesterday on their official Facebook page, Monsanto is trying another sneak attack on the American people. Their website stated, “The House Farm Bill contains HR 872, the so-called Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act, which stops the EPA from reviewing new and expanded uses of pesticides and requires the USDA to make the approval of new genetically engineered crops easier and faster, limiting USDA review to 180 days. While the USDA has never rejected a new GMO crop, public opposition, environmental concerns and litigation to protect farmers have slowed new approvals. This bill, to give Monsanto and the other biotechnology companies a free pass for new GMOs, includes a provision limiting USDA environmental review to a narrow evaluation of plant pest risks, even though the courts have ruled that a full environmental impact statement is required and must take into consideration the real threats of GMO crops, including “the potential elimination of a farmer’s choice to grow non-genetically engineered crops, or a consumer’s choice to eat non-genetically engineered food.”

If you do not know who Monsanto is then here is a brief introduction. They are the makers of Round up, the world’s deadliest herbicide. They also have their hand in the creation of 2-D-4, which is the chemical make up of what we know as Agent Orange. Agent Orange is a defoliator that was sprayed all over Vietnam and our soldiers. Today the Vietnam soldiers are dealing with multiple cancers and all sorts of disorders, illnesses and disease as as well as their children being born deformed. Monsanto owns the patent to the soybean seed, most of the corn seed, the cotton seed, the canola seed, the sugar beet seed and many more these days. That is because they are creating food in their chemical laboratory that is being approved left and right by the USDA, the FDA and the US Government.

  1. Luther DeHaven says:

Hi Kristin. The “Monsanto Rider” is in two bills: the 2012 Farm Bill and the 2013 Agriculture Appropriations Bill. The “United States of America” is soil and water. Our water is being fracked and Monsanto is destroying the soil forever, not just for a few generations. These are godless men and women.

If the Monsanto Rider passes, the people of the United States of America have no government. I therefore call on the nations of the world to do the right thing.
