We Had Abby Martin Scheduled to be our guest this morning, she was FORCED to cancel because of this. RT Is afraid they will lose their Media access to the Senate / Congress. Access is the way VIPs blackmail “journalists” into submission!
If you ever had any doubts about Rand Paul being Bad news… This should settle it. What a chump!

her press credentials for asking him tough questions in the Capitol

the RT office, where Abby works, got an ominous phone call from the
Senate Media Relations Committee. The Committee was acting on behalf
of Rand Paul and threatened both Abby and the entire RT news
organization. The threats included ambiguous “charges” for violating
the rules of the Committee floor, Abby’s possible arrest and the
termination of her and the entire office’s press credentials.
After a month of meetings and deliberation, the Senate Media Relations
office backed down and did not make good on any of their threats.

While i defended Rand on his choice to support the nominee,(after all we are supposed to be free), It did make me sit up and take notice and be skeptical of him from then on.
After seeing this, I just cannot carry on having any respect for him.
I thank him for the good work he has done in the past for the people, but this is it for me.

To add to my comment, what Rand does shouldn’t take away anything from his Father’s campaign.
The reason i mention that is due too the amount of crap i have seen on the likes of youtube.
Rand Paul appears to have some nice qualities: treacherousness (Mitt Romney endorsement) – vindictiveness (Abby Martin) and bullying (Senate Media Relations Committee) amongst others – and he’s meant to be a representative of the people. Mind you – no surprises there!
