Elections in Ukraine and Syria, Let the Fascist Mass Murder Continue

Elections Pushed Ahead in Ukraine, Obstructed in Syria, so Mass Murder Can Continue – the West’s Weaponization of “Democracy”

Journal – Neo

Tony Cartalucci

Early polls began for Syria’s presidential election, as the country begins turning the tide against foreign-backed terrorists and restoring order throughout much of the country. It was impossible for the Western media to cover up tens of thousands of Syrians around the world queuing up in impressive numbers to cast their votes in support of both President Bashar al-Assad and other candidates participating in the election. Despite eagerness to vote, the US, UK, EU, and others have decided to condemn the elections and even go as far as obstructing overseas polling.

In Reuters’ article, “Tens of thousands of Syrians abroad vote in early poll,” it reported:

Expatriates and those who have fled the war were casting their ballots at dozens of Syrian embassies abroad ahead of next week’s vote inside the country that opponents have dismissed as a farce as the fighting rages in its fourth year.

Several countries that oppose Assad, including France, have blocked the voting but Syrian government media said people were still able to participate in many countries.

Reuters would continue with anecdotal, unsubstantiated reports to undermine the legitimacy of the elections before reporting:

The European Union has said holding an election “in the midst of conflict, only in regime-controlled areas and with millions of Syrians displaced from their homes would be a parody of democracy, have no credibility whatsoever, and undermine efforts to reach a political solution”.

“Holding elections in the midst of conflict, only in regime-controlled areas”  being a “parody of democracy” and therefore having “no credibility whatsoever” might have been a credible assessment by the European Union if it hadn’t just fully endorsed as credible, elections in Ukraine held under precisely the same conditions. Indeed, the EU along with the US and rest of NATO, hailed recent elections in Ukraine as a success and immediately recognized pro-Western billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko as the new “president” of Ukraine.

However, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s (OSCE) own report cited as proof that elections were “in line with international commitments and with a respect for fundamental freedoms,” in fact reveals the exact same conditions inside of Ukraine the EU claims make the Syrian elections a “parody.”

In the report, it admits that elections there were nearly no voting occurred in the eastern most oblasts of Donetsk and Luhansk. In the west where the only semblance of voting took place, the OSCE report admits opposition parties were regularly harassed, assaulted, and even driven from campaigning before the May 25 polls. And even as polls took place, the regime in Kiev was overseeing ongoing military operations in the east of the country that included armored vehicles, helicopters and even air raids.

What the OSCE describes during Ukraine’s recent elections is quite a “parody of democracy.” In fact, the elections in Ukraine are more of a parody in documented reality than what the EU claims are taking place in Syria.

In Syria, the legitimate government of the country, which has ruled Syria for decades, is steering the nation back into order after years of deadly destabilization organized from abroad. The victor of the conflict and the territorial integrity of Syria is not in question. In Ukraine, elections were organized by violent usurpers who ousted the elected government in a bloody coup spearheaded by literal Neo-Nazis. They then launched military campaigns against the rest of the country in a bid to consolidate power before organizing rushed elections for the sole purpose of legitimizing their otherwise illegitimate unelected grip on power.

However, the regime in Kiev was unable to consolidate power before May 25 and in fact, the country is so divided, operations in the east look more like a foreign military occupation than internal policing. The EU’s decision to uphold Ukraine’s elections is an attempt to lend Kiev badly needed legitimacy ahead of continued and more intensified efforts to consolidate power. That the EU in turn is not only condemning Syria’s elections, but actively blocking Syrians abroad from voting, illustrates the overall lack of legitimacy of the European Union itself. It also calls into question the myriad of institutions it uses to prop up such self-serving, biased policies.

And while the EU’s hypocrisy swings wildly across the two most extreme ends of the spectrum, there is one common denominator between its position regarding elections in Ukraine and Syria. Both positions, for and against elections, help perpetuate campaigns of mass murder backed by the West in pursuit of its extraterritorial interests. In Ukraine, the Kiev regime’s assault on the nation’s east is fully backed by the West with many members of NATO already providing material support to ongoing operations. In Syria, since 2007, the West conspired to use sectarian extremists both inside Syria’s borders and beyond them, to overthrow the government in Damascus. In 2011, this conspiracy was fully realized in a deadly conflict that has killed tens of thousands and left parts of Syria in ruins.

By preventing elections from moving ahead in Syria that would grant President Bashar al-Assad a renewed mandate or place into office another candidate who had rejected armed militancy, the West can continue portraying the conflict as a popular uprising, continue destabilizing the country, and perhaps even successfully push forward the “political transition” (read: regime change) it had sought since at least as early as 2007.

The West has managed to weaponize humanitarian aid in Syria, and now, even the concept of voting as a means to perpetuate bloodshed and geopolitical instability. While the West cites an ever increasing list of threats that endanger global stability it must rise to confront, it is clear that they themselves have become the masters of turning anything and everything into a source of contention and protracted, deadly violence – even elections

Man Accused of Stealing Sandy Hook Signs Says Massacre Was Fake

Great that the Mass Media has another Sandy Hook “truth” nugget to smear us all with. This kind of story makes me even more convinced that the thing was a Black Op (not a “hoax”) . This angle has completely dominated the entire Truth / Conspiracy movements the last two years…  Reeks of Psychological Warfare desperation to me.

Truth Smear – Agent Provocateur

By NBCWashington.com

Two missing Sandy Hook memorial signs have been recovered in Herndon, Virginia — far from the states from which they were stolen — and a Virginia man has been charged in the case.

Andrew David Truelove, 28, is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center after Herndon police found the signs in a home where Truelove is renting a room from a family member.

One memorial sign was stolen from a playground in Mantoloking, New Jersey, and the other from Mystic, Connecticut. They were stolen about a month ago.

The signs were dedications to Sandy Hook Elementary School students: 7-year-old Chase Kowalski and 7-year-old Grace McDonnell, who were fatally shot in December 2012.

Police say blogger and reporter Chez Pazienza of The Daily Banter helped to track down the suspect. Pazienza wrote an open letter asking the thief to come forward, and he received a response, including photographs of the signs in a living room.

“I was really angry and I wanted to see this person go down for this,” Pazienza told NBC Connecticut in a Skype interview Friday. “I wasn’t just going to let it go.”

Truelove may have allied himself with people who believe the Sandy Hook massacre was staged or faked to encourage stricter gun laws, police said at a press conference Friday.

News4’s Shomari Stone spoke with Truelove’s father who maintained his son’s innocence, though he was not interested in sharing any details about the incident.

“[Police] aren’t making it up, they’re chasing the wrong fella,” Alan Truelove said. He showed Stone a photo of a man he claims is the real suspect in the case.

When asked if he or his son believed if the massacre happened, Alan Truelove replied, “Not interested … not interested in anything you say …. I’m not interested in those events.”

“It is my understanding the suspect himself had claimed to be part of this group called the truthers,” Herndon Police Chief Maggie DeBoard said during a news conference Friday.

“It’s hard to explain the why, because from our perspective it doesn’t appear rational, that type of thought process,” DeBoard said. “We know Sandy Hook occurred, obviously there are a lot of victims in that case. So I can’t explain the why, but we do know that this suspect has a troubled past, he has an extensive criminal history, he has criminal history tied to kids.”

DeBoard did not detail Truelove’s criminal history, but she said he had been banned from school property in Herndon.

Truelove has been charged with receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. DeBoard said investigators were considering upgrading the charges to felonies, and that Truelove faces charges of grand larceny in Connecticut and New Jersey.

They found Truelove already in jail on a probation violation, she said.

Truelove was charged after he contacted a reporter, saying that he had the signs, DeBoard said. The reporter contacted authorities in Stonington, Connecticut, who reached out to Herndon Police. After an investigation, authorities obtained a search warrant for Truelove’s house in the 400 block of Fillmore Street, and recovered the stolen signs Friday.

“Our main goal here was to get those signs back so they could be placed back on the playgrounds where they belong,” DeBoard said.

NBC Connecticut reported earlier this month that, after a 50-pound vinyl peace sign was stolen from a Mystic playground honoring the memory of Grace McDonnell, a man called her mother to tell her that he believed the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax and that her daughter “never existed.”

“It’s my understanding that … one of the victim’s families of one of these signs was contacted from the suspect at one point letting him know he had the signs,” DeBoard said.

“It’s very horrifying. I can’t imagine the families having to relive this over and over again,” she said.

She grew emotional as she discussed the impact of these memorials on the families of victims and on their communities.

“We think about Sandy Hook, we are all affected by Sandy Hook all the time,” DeBoard said. “And when you think about that and all the kids who were affected by that it’s hard not to get emotional. And one of the things that our investigators talked about was having the honor of being able to take these signs back and hand them over to the families and put them back where they belong. That’s most important to us.”

Investigators are likely to hand-carry the signs up to the playgrounds next week, she said.

He also called the parents of both victims and said the shooting was a hoax and the kids never existed. The stolen signs were recovered at Truelove’s Herndon, Va., home, police said.

LIHOP – Santa Barbara Teen Rampage Prior Knowledge (Workers at I.V. Deli Mart cleaned up blood at the crime scene)

Minimally this was a STAND DOWN! LIHOP (Let it happen on Purpose) – Now comes the cover up…. The alleged suspect, Like James Holmes was a privileged kid; his dad was the AD on “Hunger Games”. Its unfortunate that the Alt Media community will take the onus OFF this obvious stand down, links to Psychiatry (as we noted with Holmes) and the solutions of “Involuntary Psychiatric Commitment” and gun control. Why? Because nothing ever happens, and every violent incident is now chalked up to “crisis actors”. In this case… about 50+ people. The “Nothing ever happens” conspiracy is a great way to minimize respect for Alternative research, and a convenient way to steer away from TRUTH. AND…. It sells.

Santa Barbara rampage: Workers at I.V. Deli Mart cleaned up blood at the crime scene –Early reports: Two suspects were involved

Posted by Lori Price, www.legitgov.org 29 May 2014 Part of the deadly Santa Barbara rampage took place at the I.V. Deli Mart in Isla Vista: ‘People inside an Isla Vista deli dropped to the floor and desperately tried to hide from the gunman in Friday’s deadly rampage. Security camera video shows the terrifying moments when customers first hear gunshots, then run for cover inside the I.V. Deli Mart. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says Elliot Rodger killed Christopher Michaels-Martinez at that store.’ [See: Surveillance video shows frantic moments inside I.V. Deli Mart,’

25 May 2014.] In the aftermath of the killings, workers at the deli were actually seen cleaning up blood at the *crime scene.* Additionally, ‘initial reports suggested that two suspects were involved in the shooting.’

Santa Barbara Rampage: Police knew but didn’t view Elliot Rodger’s videos

Law officers who visited Elliot Rodger three weeks before he killed six college students near a Santa Barbara university were aware that he had posted disturbing videos but didn’t watch them, and they didn’t know about his final video detailing his “Day of Retribution” until after the deadly rampage, officials said.

The disclosure in a Santa Barbara County sheriff’s department statement on Thursday corrected an earlier assertion that deputies were unaware of any video when they checked on him on April 30. The statement also provided new details on the sequence of events during that pivotal visit to Rodger’s apartment, a time when he was plotting the rampage ended with him apparently taking his own life.

The guns he used in the killings last Friday were stashed inside his apartment at the time, but police never searched the residence or conducted a check to determine if he owned firearms because they didn’t consider him a threat.

The statement does not explain why the videos were not viewed or whether the deputies knew anything about the contents beyond a description of them being “disturbing.”

The sheriff’s department also revealed new details about the timeline leading up to the killings. It said Rodger uploaded his final video to YouTube detailing his “Day of Retribution” and stating his plans and reasons for the killings, at 9:17 p.m. on the day of the shootings, May 23. One minute later, he emailed a lengthy written manifesto to his mother, father and therapist that also detailed his plans and contempt for everyone he felt were responsible for his sexual frustrations and overall miserable existence.

The first gunshots were reported at 9:27 p.m. The rampage was over and Rodger dead just eight minutes later.

It was another half hour before the therapist saw the emailed manifesto and 11 more minutes until the sheriff’s office was contacted at 10:11 p.m. Authorities contacted Rodger’s mother and learned about the manifesto and the “Retribution” video.

Deputies wounded Rodger during two separate shootouts as he sped through the unincorporated beach community of Isla Vista, near the University of California, Santa Barbara, leaving a trail of bloodshed that ended with Rodger apparently shooting himself in the head before crashing his black BMW into a parked car. Thirteen people were injured – eight from gunshot wounds, four from being hit by his car and one who suffered a minor injury.

The timing indicates that Rodger stabbed to death three people in the apartment sometime earlier – his two roommates and a third man who might have been another roommate or a visitor at the time of the attack.

Rodger wrote in the manifesto about the April 30 visit by the deputies and said it prompted him to remove most of his videos from YouTube. He re-posted at least some of them in the week leading up to the killings. He wrote that the deputies asked him if he had suicidal thoughts, but “I tactfully told them that it was all a misunderstanding and they finally left. If they had demanded to search my room that would have ended everything.”

According to the statement from the sheriff’s office, four deputies, a police officer and a dispatcher in training were sent to Rodger’s apartment after being informed by the county’s mental health hotline that Rodger’s therapist and mother were concerned about videos he posted online.

The visit lasted about 10 minutes, during which officers found him shy and polite. The deputies questioned him about the videos. Rodger told them he was having trouble fitting in socially and the videos were “merely a way of expressing himself.”

Like many other states, California has a law intended to identify and confine dangerously unstable people before they can do harm. It allows authorities to hold people in a mental hospital for up to 72 hours for observation.

Because the deputies concluded Rodger was not a threat to himself or others, they never viewed the videos, searched his apartment or conducted a check to determine if he owned firearms, the statement said.

That sequence of events is different from a statement Sunday from spokeswoman Kelly Hoover, who said “the sheriff’s office was not aware of any videos until after the shooting rampage occurred.”

In a typical mental-health check, only two deputies would be dispatched. But deputies who were familiar with Rodger as a victim in a January petty theft case were in the area and also decided to go to his apartment.

Hoover did not respond immediately to an email seeking more information on why the deputies didn’t watch the videos, the content of the videos and what specific information was relayed from the mother that prompted the check at his apartment.

Rick Wall, a retired Los Angeles police captain who created the agency’s procedures for responding to people with mental problems, said that law enforcement officers need to look at all the available evidence when conducting investigations. “Not that the final conclusion that they made on that day would have been any different, but something could have changed,” he said.

The visit with Rodger was brief, but Wall said the amount of time they spent talking to his mother was critical in determining why she was concerned about him, while gathering details of his medical history and past behavior. That information isn’t known.

“That’s going to be the telling piece and where you’re going to get the breakdown on the guy’s story,” Wall said. “Talking to somebody for 10 minutes, you may or may not get the ability to conduct a proper evaluation.”

California Democrats want new gun measures after college rampage

27 May 2014 – California Democrats on Tuesday proposed a series of measures aimed at preventing mass killings such as the rampage at a local university that left six students and the assailant dead. Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, a Democrat, proposed improved training for police on mental health warnings after a check on the suspect in Friday’s killings failed to thwart his [alleged] impending plan. California lawmakers also proposed adding weapons checks to welfare visits as well as setting aside additional funding.

First Time for everything! Maybe this will set a precedent… All men and Woman are created EQUAL! Best Person for the Job. NOW…. We should go after the Cronies!

CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) – A Long Island police lieutenant has been awarded $1.35 million in his racial discrimination lawsuit against the village of Freeport.

Lt. Christopher Barrella, who is white, had accused the village of awarding the police chief’s job to a Hispanic officer with few qualifications and a lower test score.

Following the federal jury’s decision Thursday, Barrella described the process as trying but said he always had faith in the jury system.

“It’s really a good feeling to be validated, and I am incredibly appreciative that the jury saw it my way,” Barrella told 1010 WINS’ Mona Rivera.

The former mayor, Andrew Hardwick, was a defendant in the case but could not be reached for comment. He was the village’s first black mayor.

Barrella had charged that Hardwick terminated and demoted qualified, experienced non-Hispanic whites. Barrella charged that Hardwick illegaly chose Miguel Bermudez for the job of police chief.

The current Freeport Mayor Robert Kennedy, who is white, said the jury got it wrong.

“I have the utmost confidence in Chief Bermudez, who’s probably one of the finest chiefs of Freeport village that we’ve ever had,” Kennedy told Rivera.

The jury award includes $200,000 in punitive damages.

Everywhere: Kerry: US to start $5 billion fund to help other countries fight terrorism

28 May 2014 Secretary of State John Kerry says the United States will begin a $5 billion “terrorism partnership fund” to help other countries push back against radical extremists. Kerry says President Barack Obama will announce the fund during his commencement speech Wednesday at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York. [Apparently, ‘deficits don’t matter’ when it comes to funding death squads all over the world who kill those who dare to rise up against corporate locusts who want to seize nations’ water and oil. In truth, the *actual* terrorists against whom the whole planet needs to unite and fight are the US government, Monsanto, TEPCO, BP, Exxon Mobil, etc.]

Four African nations: U.S. Using Classified Pentagon Spending to Train Elite Antiterror Troops in Four African Nations

28 May 2014 United States Special Operations troops are forming elite counterterrorism units in four countries in North and West Africa. The secretive program, financed in part with millions of dollars in classified Pentagon spending and carried out by trainers, including members of the Army’s Green Berets and Delta Force, was begun last year to instruct and equip hundreds of handpicked commandos [death squads] in Libya, Niger, Mauritania and Mali…For the aborted training outside Tripoli, the Defense Department also tapped into a classified spending account called Section 1208, devised to aid foreign troops assisting American forces conducting counterterrorism missions.

Libya: U.S. dispatches 1,000 Marines to Libya’s coast as fighting escalates

28 May 2014 The U.S. military has ordered the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan, with 1,000 Marines on board, to move toward the Libyan coast, the Pentagon confirmed Wednesday, a day after American officials urged citizens to leave the restive country immediately. That warning came as the leader of Ansar al Shariah, the militant group, warned that if the United States got involved in the brewing civil war, it would face a fight “much worse” than Iraq and Afghanistan…Earlier this month, the U.S. military moved 200 Marines to Sicily in case of an evacuation, U.S. officials told McClatchy.

Syria: US Special Forces May Soon Be Training Syrian ‘Rebels’ –Obama weighing sending American troops to Jordan to participate in ‘training’

28 May 2014 In an open move that would significantly boost U.S. support to Syrian ‘rebels’ seeking military help in their quest to oust President Bashar Assad, the White House may soon sign off on a project to train and equip ‘moderate forces.’ President Barack Obama is weighing sending a limited number of American troops to Jordan to be part of a regional training mission that would instruct carefully vetted members of the Free Syrian Army on tactics, including counterterrorism operations, administration officials said. They said Obama has not yet given final approval for the initiative and said there is still internal discussion about its merits and potential risks.

Afghanistan: Obama Wants to Keep Almost 10,000 Troops in Afghanistan Beyond 2014 [to protect the CIA’s poppy fields]

27 May 2014 President Barack Obama will announce Tuesday that he wants to keep 9,800 military personnel in Afghanistan after the American combat mission ends there this year, a senior administration official told NBC News. That figure would be cut in half by the end of 2015, and the American contingent would be reduced to “a normal Embassy presence” by the end of 2016, as Obama is close to leaving office, the administration official said.

NSA Releases Emails from Snowden, Claims He Never Contacted Them over Spying Concerns

Hegelian Dialectic 101 – Thesis (NSA) + Antithesis (Snowden) = Synthesis (Fear, Control, Acceptance, Codification)

The National Security Agency today released the first of what they claim are multiple emails proving that Edward Snowden, the former security contractor who revealed the extent of the agency’s surveillance programs nearly a year ago, did not actually “raise allegations or concerns about wrongdoing or abuse” while working as a contractor for the agency.

Snowden’s argument that he should be classified as a whistleblower and not a lawbreaker hinges on his claim that he attempted to alert the NSA to surveillance abuses multiple times, only to be blown off by management. According to the NSA, however, Snowden’s first email to them simply asked a legal question about the force of executive orders — a fairly innocuous “Presidency 101″ question — during his training, rather than alert them to any issues with mass surveillance. They also noted that Snowden never followed up with them on this subject.

“There are numerous avenues that Mr. Snowden could have used to raise other concerns or whistleblower allegations,” the NSA wrote on their Tumblr account. “We have searched for additional indications of outreach from him in those areas and to date have not discovered any engagements related to his claims.”

(Yes, American intel has a Tumblr account.)
