IT WILL BE INTERESTING to see If Mr Snipes has been properly reeducated about his place at the table and the issue of “Voluntary” Taxes. If he starts working in propaganda films – we will have your answer. Good Luck Wesley – stay away from the light!

Wesley Snipes is the star of the Blade trilogy
Hollywood star Wesley Snipes has been released from prison in the US after serving time for not paying his taxes.
The 50-year-old actor was jailed in Pennsylvania in 2010 for failing to file income tax returns.
He’ll now remain under house arrest for the next four months in order to complete the three year sentence he was handed.
Snipes has starred in dozens of films but is most famous for the Blade trilogy about a vampire hunter.
Millions of dollars
US prosecutors say the actor failed to file returns for at least a decade and owed millions of dollars in taxes.
It’s not known where exactly he’ll stay while under house arrest. At the time of his conviction he lived in a suburb of Orlando in Florida.
However, documents show he’ll be under the supervision of the New York Community Corrections Office, which oversees people in the Bronx and Brooklyn areas of New York, as well as New Jersey.
At the time of his conviction in April 2008, prosecutors said Snipes had earned more than $37m (£24m) in gross income.

Busting Bikinis and the Cop Who Wants to Fine Cursing! (Nanny of the Year 2012)

Who will claim the Nanny this year? Might it be the Arizona pol who’s cracking down on advertisers who photoshop models to make them more attractive? (We assume she’s preparing campaigns against other deceptions like makeup and lighting.) How about that New Jersey crusader who’s itching to bust bikinis? Or the police chief from Massachusetts who refused to let obstacles like the First Amendment deter him from championing an ordinance that fines folks for public profanity?
The Nannies have been as male-dominated as the Academy Award for best director, but for the first time in history most of the nominees are women! Will this be the the year that Nanny gold finally ends up in a woman’s hands?
A little over two minutes. (If only all awards shows were that quick!)
“Nanny of the Year,” is written and produced by Ted Balaker, who also hosts. Shot by Paul Detrick and Alex Manning. Motion graphics by Austin Bragg.
CORRECTION: Ted Balaker should have referenced the Sylvester Stallone epic Demolition Man rather than the Sylvester Stallone epic Judge Dredd. We regret the error and Balaker has already been sentenced to watch the Sylvester Stallone epic Spy Kids 3D: Game Over by a just and angry god.

In 2013 in Illinois, motorcyclists will be able to “proceed through a red light if the light fails to change.” In Kentucky, releasing feral or wild hogs into the wild will be prohibited. And inFlorida, swamp buggies will not legally be considered motor vehicles.
On Jan. 1, as crowds of people toast to a new year, more than 400 news laws across the country will take effect — and possibly improve life for some.
“The laws that state governments deal with are really the laws that impact people on a daily basis,” said Jon Kuhl, a spokesmanfor the National Conference of State Legislatures, which tracks the bills. “Whether amending or updating laws or enacting brand new legislation, it was an active year.”
In addition to the new laws of 2013, more than 29,000 lawswere passed by state legislatures this year, Kuhl said. Many dealt with healthcare, education, gay rights, child safety and the Internet.
In several states, including Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware, lawmakers made it illegal for employers to either require or request social-media passwords from job applicants or employees. Some of those laws are already in effect. However, similar bills passed in Illinois and California become law Tuesday.
“My legislation protects workers’ privacy,” said Nora Campos, speaker pro tempore of the California State Assembly and lead author of her state’s social-media bill. “The legislation is necessary because there is a hole in existing law that prevents employers from intrudinginto an employee’s legal off-duty conduct.”
She added that California could potentially be the new model for how other states deal with social media and the workplace.
Meanwhile, Alaska became the 31st state to require health insurance companies to cover the diagnosis, testing and treatment of autism spectrum disorders for people up to the age of 21. The legislation’s passage continues a trend among states that began in 2007, Kuhl said.
Other states could follow with similar bills, and a higher number of laws could take effect when the clock strikes midnight in 2014 because four state legislatures — Montana, Nevada, North Dakota and Texas —were out of session in 2012.
Some new laws in 2013:
- Same-sex couples in Maryland will be able to marry.
- California clergy members will not have to perform same-sex marriages if they object.
- Partial birth abortion by physicians and non-physicians will not be performed in New Hampshire except to save the life of the mother.
- Sex offenders in Illinois will not be able to dress up as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny or give out candy during Halloween.
- Employers in Oregon will not be allowed to advertise a job opening if they won’t consider applicants who are unemployed.

Morgan Stanley has also been implicated in the LIBOR Scandal!
Lanza’s father was “questioned by Police”
Peter Lanza: the father of the alleged Sandy Hook Elementary Shooter, Andy Lanza.
According to Yahoo news, the alleged shooter at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, Adam Lanza, is the son of Vice President of GE Capital, Peter Lanza. Peter Lanza is also a partner at Ernst & Young, and major accounting firm. The older brother, Ryan Lanza, is also reported to be employed at Ernst & Young.
Peter Lanza, who drove to northern New Jersey to talk to police and the FBI, is a vice president at GE Capital and had been a partner at global accounting giant Ernst & Young.
Adam’s older brother Ryan Lanza, 24, has worked at Ernst & Young for four years, apparently following in his father’s footsteps and carving out a solid niche in the tax practice. He too was interviewed by the FBI. Neither he nor his father is under any suspicion.
CT shooting– Man in camouflage pants grabbed by police – Was suspected of being second shooter?

Eyewitness News reporters on the Observed a man in camouflage gear being taken away from the staging area. He screamed to people in the area that he was not involved in the shooting.

By Andrew Steele
A witness to the aftermath of the terrible school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut on December 14th described police cuffing a man in camouflage pants and a dark jacket who was walked past him, and who looked at gathered parents and told them that he wasn’t responsible for the shooting. At the time the witness was interviewed by CBS News, the man he described was not far away. In fact, he was sitting in the front of a police car that was nearby.
Witness: I saw them walk a guy earlier with handcuffs…he walked by us and said he didn’t do it.
Reporter: It was a grown man?
Witness: A grown man, yeah. He’s sitting in the front of the police car over there now. So, I mean…
Reporter: He didn’t have a gun?
Witness: No, I didn’t see any gun…just had him handcuffed and he walked by us and looked into parents’ eyes and said “I didn’t do it”.
Reporter: How was he dressed?
Witness: Camo pants with a dark jacket.
While it’s not unusual that in the chaos of a mass shooting the wrong person might initially be grabbed by police as a suspect and later released, what is unusual is the fact that the man described by the witness apparently was wearing military style clothes just like those worn by the alleged shooter– Adam Lanza– and described by some accounts as the same clothes of the shooter.
From the Sky Valley Chronicle:
“Broadcast reports from the scene say the gunman reportedly walked into the school wearing camouflage pants and opened fire in one room killing the principal and an unknown number of other adults and then moved into to classrooms shooting at students and teachers in those rooms.”
The Telegraph described the man in the camouflage pants and Adam Lanza– (who was wearing black “fatigues”) as being two separate people. This, of course, makes sense since Adam Lanza died in the school, and therefore couldn’t have been the man described in the video above.
“The gunman, wearing black fatigues and a military-style vest, was found dead in a classroom, but it was not clear whether he took his own life or was shot by police.
A second man wearing camouflage trousers was seen being handcuffed. One witness described him shouting: “I didn’t do it.”
“Another person was being held in police custody after he was detained in the woods near the school wearing camouflage pants, CBS reported”.
AL.com, citing Fox News, claimed the man was the shooting suspect’s younger brother, as did other sources.
“2:25 p.m. CST — A FoxNews report said
witnesses said a handcuffed man, dressed in camouflage was led out of a nearby woods by officers who reported to the shooting. The individual is Lanza’s younger brother, according to the Associated Press.”
The link back to the Fox News story, as of this writing, is dead. Most likely this is because at the time the information was posted, Adam Lanza’s older brother Ryan was mistakenly being named as the suspect.
“2:15 p.m. CST — The Associated Press reports: A law enforcement official says the suspect in the Connecticut school shootings is 24-year-old Ryan Lanza and that his younger brother is being held for questioning as a possible second shooter. The law enforcement official said the boys’ mother, Nancy Lanza, works at the school as a teacher. The official also said Ryan Lanza’s girlfriend and another friend are missing in New Jersey.”
Ryan Lanza, who lives in Hoboken NJ, was at work during the shooting. He couldn’t have been the man grabbed from the woods. Adam and Ryan were the only two sons in the family, so the man in the woods couldn’t have been a third “younger brother” either.
The man in the camouflage pants at one point was suspected by police of being a second shooter.
“CBS News reports that a potential second shooter is in custody and that SWAT is now investigating the home of the suspect. Miller reports that authorities have gone into a home connected with the individual in custody after seeing what appeared to be a body inside.
A witness tells WFSB-TV that a second man was taken out of the woods in handcuffs wearing a black jacket and camouflage pants and telling parents on the scene, “I did not do it.”

Jon Stewart demolishes Gov. Christie for opposing marijuana decriminalization
On his show Wednesday night, The Daily Show host Jon Stewart lampooned New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for his opposition to decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana.
The New Jersey Assembly has passed legislation that would reduce penalties for marijuana possession, but Christie plans to veto it. Christie said the state should not decriminalize marijuana because it was still illegal under federal law.
“Alright, as much as I disagree, I don’t think marijuana should be illegal, but it is illegal on the federal level. Christie is a former prosecutor, a man of conviction, of principle, doesn’t believe that the state should supersede federal law,” Stewart said.
But then Stewart played a clip of Christie saying he intended to ignore federal law and allow sports gambling.
“What the fuck?” Stewart responded. “Wait. How did governor ‘guys, stop smoking pot it’s against the law’ just go Dirty Harry on ignoring the federal ban on sports gambling? What’s the difference between the two?”
Apparently, the difference is that nobody “is under the illusion that betting on sports games isn’t happening every week in New Jersey.”
“OK,” Stewart said incredulously. “I have an idea. Lets replace the phrase ‘betting on sports games’ with the phrase ‘getting high.’ Different how?”
Stewart then played a clip of Christie saying “there may have been a different feeling thirty or forty years ago, but the fact is now gaming is everywhere.”
“OK,” he said. “Lets replace the word ‘gaming’ with the phrase ‘getting high.’ Still not seeing why challenging federal law for gambling is OK, but challenging it for pot is not OK.”
Newark NJ Mayor Cory Booker (Obama Pal) PAID by BAIN to make Pro Romney Remarks

FOB… Friend of Barry OR Friend of BAIN?

Mayor Booker - payoffs and corruption worked for his friend Barry... Why not take the bribe?
Yesterday, Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker (D) attacked the Obama campaign for making an issue of Mitt Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital during an appearance on Meet the Press. While the progressive leader later backed off the criticisms, Republicans have been quick to highlight his comments as an attackagainst the idea that scrutiny of Mitt Romney’s record as a businessman is fair game.
A ThinkProgress examination of New Jersey campaign finance records for Booker’s first run for Mayor — back in 2002 — suggests a possible reason for his unease with attacks on Bain Capital and venture capital. They were among his earliest and most generous backers.
Contributions to his 2002 campaign from venture capitalists, investors, and big Wall Street bankers brought him more than $115,000 for his 2002 campaign. Among those contributing to his campaign were John Connaughton ($2,000), Steve Pagliuca ($2,200), Jonathan Lavine ($1,000) — all of Bain Capital. While the forms are not totally clear, it appears the campaign raised less than $800,000 total, making this a significant percentage.
He and his slate also jointly raised funds for the “Booker Team for Newark” joint committee. They received more than $450,000 for the 2002 campaign from the sector — including a pair of $15,400 contributions from Bain Capital Managing Directors Joshua Bekenstein and Mark Nunnelly. It appears that for the initial campaign and runoff, the slate raised less than $4 million — again making this a sizable chunk.
In all — just in his first Mayoral run — Booker’s committees received more than $565,000 from the people he was defending. At least $36,000 of that came from folks at Romney’s old firm.

Little Riyanna’s father: ‘We were humiliated’

Doody bombs... The New Al Qaeda plot
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – WPBF
EIghteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now … a suspected terrorist.
She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Agency wanted to speak to them.
“And I said, ‘For what?’” Riyanna’s mother told only WPBF 25 News on Wednesday. “And he said, ‘Well, it’s not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly.’ I said, ‘Excuse me?’”
Rihanna’s father was flabbergasted.
“It’s absurd,” he said. “It made no sense. Why would an 18-month-old child be on a no-fly list?”
Riyanna’s parents, who asked not to be identified, said they think they know the answer to that question. They believe they were profiled because they are both of Middle Eastern descent. Riyanna’s mother wears a hijab, a traditional head scarf. That’s why they have asked to remain anonymous. They said they’re concerned about repurcussions. That said, they are both Americans, born and raised in New Jersey, just like their daughter.
Riyanna’s parents said once they were taken off the plane, they were met by TSA agents and made to stand in the terminal for about 30 minutes.
“We were put on display like a circus act because my wife wears a hijab,” Riyanna’s father said.
Eventually, the child’s parents said they were told they could reboard the plane though they added that nobody offered an apology or even an explanation for what happened. The family refused to get back on the plane because they were embarrassed. They chose instead to leave the airport, but they still want to know why and how this happened.
